Take in a birds-eye view of OA’s surroundings
Here at OA, we provide a truly personal and quality experience to the pupils and teachers that choose to come and visit us here in North Cornwall for our residential trips for schools.
Our choice to run a smaller operation allows schools the rare alternative to the large impersonal adventure centres, ensuring every pupil gets the maximum personal development from their residential school trip as they tackle activities such as bodyboarding, surfing and archery. The centre also provides activities that are a powerful teambuilding opportunity for the class as a whole, which is done through team activities such as coastal traversing, orienteering, Canadian canoeing, abseiling and much more.
All our sports and activities are conducted in a real natural environment, where we have simply tailored our programs around what nature has already created for us.
The best way to showcase just how beautiful Bude in North Cornwall really is, aside from being here in person, is to take to the skies above Outdoor Adventure.
The video below, from Hobbies & Gadgets, makes use of one of the very best drones on the market and showcases this beautiful area of Cornwall in all its glory, they describe it as; “This stretch of coast is steeped in the smuggling history of times before, and not far south of Widemouth Bay, there can be found some amazing little inlets and coves. Widemouth bay is fabulous for surfing, just look at those waves. Widemouth Bay is Bude’s best kept secret on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall.”
