Bude Jazz festival coming next week

The 29th annual Bude Jazz Festival gets under way next week, offering people staying in our residential accommodation and taking part in our surf and activity camps an extra option for evening entertainment for four days.

Bude Jazz Festival is back next week, with plenty of gigs in the town.

The festival, which starts on Tuesday (August 30) and runs until Friday (September 2) is sponsored by St Austell Brewery.

During the four days of Jazz Bude will see more than 60 sessions take place with more than 40 bands playing. To make things easy for festival goers all the venues are in Bude town centre and within walking distance of each other.

Visitors can buy four-day or one-day tickets which will let them move from venue to venue enjoying everything that’s on offer, although tickets will also be available on the door for individual gigs.

And in addition to the ticketed gigs there will be several free events, including a street parade, two concerts on the Castle bandstand, and several busking sessions at the Falcon Hotel.

So why not pop along and see some live music while staying at a Bude surf school?
