Improvers' Surfing Lessons

If you already have a bit of experience its time to take things further. We coach our more advanced surfers slightly differently from the novices. We work with you to identify the next step in your surfing progress. They do this by both chatting to you and watching your performance in the water. The intermediate skills include catching green waves and then starting to look at bottom and top turns, cutting back and perfecting your stance. We will talk you through the theory as well as coaching your performance in the water.

We can also help you with some invaluable tips on what kit to buy, where to surf in the UK and abroad, swell prediction, surf etiquette and more.

Intermediate lessons

In this 2.5 hour lesson you will receive individual attention. Our instructors are skilled at spotting those little things that can make all the difference between success and a wipe-out! Every surfer hits plateaus with their performance, so if you want to catch green waves, start learning or perfecting manoeuvres or just stand up for a little longer we can help.
