Widemouth Bay - The perfect beach to learn to surf on the Cornwall - Devon border.
Our surfing lessons are run from Widemouth Bay, near Bude in north Cornwall near the border with Devon. It is a beautiful wide open sandy beach with stunning views up and down the coast, facing west it picks up any swell that is around and often has waves when other beaches are flat
It’s a fantastic beach with great waves for beginners and improvers at most stages of the tide and has the highest award for water quality you can get in Cornwall. There is plenty of parking and all you will need for a great day on the beach with lifeguards, toilets and a beach cafe.
Widemouth Bay is situated on the unspoilt, rugged north Cornwall coast. It is easy to get to and only 1 hour from the M5 junction at Exeter
