Our Ocean Action breaks are designed to get you into the heart of this incredible environment where you can test yourself against the elements or just relax and enjoy it!

You choose from a wide range of water and land based activities to make up your perfect weekend

Get to explore places you never thought possible – inaccessible coves and beautiful beaches you can only get to by coasteering or sea kayak! then follow it with the surf of a lifetime or have a go at sea cliff abseiling.

Who are these breaks for?

Everyone! We have the flexibility to cater for people completely new to the activities and for those who already have some experience. You don't need to be super fit or a good swimmer, just up for loads of new experiences and total fun. You can make your days as easy or as challenging as you like.

Come as a group or on your own - either way you'll feel welcome, at ease and part of the action!

Activity locations

This is where Outdoor Adventure is in a league of it's own. The activities take place in incredible settings. The coastline each side of the Centre is some of the most spectacular on the North Cornish coast. The cliffs are rugged with amazing rock structures and stretch as far as the eye can see only broken by beautiful beaches with crashing surf.

Your instructors

The Outdoor staff are experienced, qualified and fun to be with. They enjoy their job and care that you have a great experience with us. If you are new to the activities they will give you loads of encourage and plenty of tips and if you have some experience already, coach at a higher level and progress your skills.

We have our own on site 'Boardriders Bar' with a superb range of drinks and music. We organise things to do – BBQ's, beach games and cliff top fires with live acoustic music.

If you want to go out there's always lots going on in the area. The Widemouth Manor pub and nightclub is within 5 minutes walk and Bude is only 4 miles up the coast road with a wide choice of bars and clubs.

For those who just want to chill, what better place – it's an amazing setting with seats on our cliff edge! You can sit with a beer and catch the sunset and if you're lucky watch the dolphins, or maybe go for a stroll on our beach below.
