Accommodation
What type of accommodation do you have at the centre?
We have a range of rooms at our centre ranging from twins, doubles to family rooms. The family rooms are dorm style with some en-suite, some with a sink and some with outstanding sea views. We provide all bed linen.
Can we be guaranteed a room with a sea view?
We allocate rooms at the time of booking so as long as there is a sea view room available we can make sure that you have this room for your stay. Booking in advance is recommended so that you don’t miss out! The roar of the waves can be heard from every room and if you step outside the front door you can see the breathtaking views across the Atlantic. So even if you don’t have a room with a sea view you are never very far from one.
What other facilities do you have at the centre?
We have a TV. lounge with free view, DVD player and plenty of comfortable seating and a well stocked bar and dining area with TV and DVD player and WiFi. We also have indoor and outdoor drying facilities.

We always receive great reports about our food - even from fussy children! In general the meals are as follows:
Breakfast: cereals, fruit, yoghurt and a cooked breakfast,
Lunch: a light buffet style or packed lunch,
Dinner: A three course home cooked meal for dinner. There is a choice of 3 meals.
Special dietary requirements are, of course, catered for.
Do you cater for special diets?
Yes, we've got lots of experience catering for pretty much any kind of special dietary requirement but to help us prepare you must let us know in advance if you have any special requirements.
Activity Programme
Do we have to take part in all activities?
No. Adults and children can take part in whatever activities they choose. We take full responsibility for all participants during activities, so there is no need for adult supervision.
Activities are not compulsory and therefore there is no pressure on anyone to participate in any activity you don’t want to take part in.
We very much encourage adults to enjoy the activities with their children - however, if you want to opt-out of an activity, or for a day, or even for the week, we take full responsibility for your children, so you need not worry and can spend the time as you wish.
How many activities are there in a day?
We run an activity session in the morning and in the afternoon and we also provide evening activities. Our session times are 9.30 am – 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm – 4.30 pm and our evening activity is from 7 pm.
How does the programme work?
We offer a flexible programme so that you don’t have to choose your activities until you are at the centre. You then choose at the end of each day your activities for the next day. There is a choice of 3 or 4 different activities in the morning and afternoon
Do we need to bring our own kit for the activities?
We provide all specialist kit for each activity i.e. wetsuits, surfboards, buoyancy aids, harnesses etc so you just need to bring your own personal clothing. We will provide you with a kit list with your booking confirmation. Do you have a minimum age for the activities? Families with children of all ages are welcome at our centre. With regards to activities we use size as a guide as some of our activities aren’t suitable for smaller children. So generally we say that our activities are suitable for children aged 8 and over.
Some of our activities are suitable for small children (aged 6 ish) i.e. Canadian canoe, abseil, climb and coastal traverse
Windsurfing is for children aged 11 and over
Coasteering is for 16 and over.
Can we stay off site and still come for activities?
Yes. We can offer a non-residential activity programme for your family so that you can come to us for the activity days if you have found accommodation elsewhere.
Misc
