Terms and Conditions

Deposits and Payments

A deposit of 30% of the total holiday value is due when booking more than 8 weeks before your holiday date. A confirmation of booking letter will be sent confirming your deposit and holiday dates.

The balance is due in full no later than 8 weeks before your holiday date. Non-payment by the due date may be treated as a cancellation and all deposit monies will be forfeited. No reminders will be sent after the initial invoice.

If you book less than 8 weeks before your holiday commences the full holiday value is required to confirm your booking. No deposits will be accepted.

Cancellations

If you cancel your holiday for any reason up to 8 weeks before the start of your holiday and you have not taken out cancellation insurance with Outdoor Adventure Ltd, or your own personal cancellation insurance, your full deposit and payment to date become non-refundable. If you cancel within 8 weeks of your holiday date your full holiday value and any payments to date become non-refundable and any monies owing will be due immediately. No exceptions will be made.

Outdoor Adventure Ltd reserves the right to change the stated holidays at any time if this should prove necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.

Cancellation Insurance

Cancellation insurance is available at a cost of £9.50 per person. This insurance will cover you for the cost of cancellation due to death in the family or injury and illness not apparent at time of booking. If you cancel 8 weeks before your holiday commences then your deposit and any monies paid will be refunded less a £10 excess. If you cancel within 8 weeks of your holiday date then all monies paid will be refunded less a 30% excess. A doctor's certificate will be required before a refund is made and your injury must restrict your taking part in your chosen activity. The management decision is final in any claims.

Complaints

All complaints must be notified to the management immediately so that an on-the-spot investigation can be made if necessary and remedial action taken if required. In no circumstances will any complaint be accepted if raised after your stay has ended when the customer has denied the owners the opportunity of investigating the complaint and endeavouring to put matters right during the currency of the holiday.

Personal Injury and Safety

It is the responsibility of each individual to act responsibly and safely in respect of their own safety and of others. It is your responsibility to take out personal injury and medical insurance. We would recommend that you do so.

Water Confidence, Special Needs, Medical Conditions

For water based activities, participants need to be confident in the water. This does not mean you have to be able to swim. You must notify the centre when booking of any medical conditions, medication or special needs which may require special facilities or could have personal health or safety implications. The centre cannot be held responsible for any implications arising from the absence from such a disclosure.

Availability of Holidays and Accommodation

Availability of holidays and type of accommodation are limited and must be checked at the time of booking.

Changes to Information

Outdoor Adventure Ltd reserves the right to change the stated holidays at any time if this should prove necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. All information and details may be subject to change or alteration.
