Is this for me?

Designed for adults, these weekends are perfect whether you are 18 or 60 - you don’t have to be super fit or a good swimmer, just open to plenty of new experiences and lots of fun. Our staff are excellent and will tailor their coaching to suit your level. Come as a group or on your own - either way you’ll feel part of the action and have a fantastic, memorable experience.

The Evenings

The Chef puts on a gorgeous barbecue Saturday night and our team arrange a fun light hearted evening - you can join in or just choose do your own thing.

Our ‘Board Riders’ bar and cliff top seated area are great places to chill out and relax in, where you can gaze out across the ocean and who knows you may well see a pod of dolphins cruise by! Maybe you will fancy a stroll down to our private beach or gather round one of our infamous cliff top fires. We also have a TV room with internet access and a great selection of extreme sports DVD’s.

If you want to go out for the evening the lively town of Bude is only 4 miles up the coast road, with its vibrant surf culture, pubs and clubs. There is also a pub close to the centre within a 5 minute walk.

Location - Cornwall

Outdoor Adventure is situated on the unspoilt, rugged north Cornwall coast. It is easy to get to and only 1 hour from the M5 junction at Exeter. The Centre’s setting is incredible. As soon as you arrive you will find yourself surrounded by a magnificent, naturally wild, coastal environment. The Centre is perched on the cliff top overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and is set within it’s own 10 acres of beautiful grounds which have been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest by English Nature and is now a European area of conservation. It even has its own beach! With all this around you it doesn’t take long for everyone to start feeling happy and relaxed! Our location also has the best of both worlds - although in a remote and spectacular setting, the lively town of Bude is only 4 miles away with its vibrant surf culture. The North Cornwall coast path runs just behind the Centre with a pub within a short 5 minute walk.

Very impressed with all the staff. They were excellent at coaching the activities and all had a very profess iona l outlook whilst still making it great fun. The Centre obviously places great importance on this.

We have an excellent team of staff. They genuinely enjoy their job and yes they are highly experienced and qualified, but what our weekends work so well is that they genuinely care that you have a fantastic time and will go that extra mile to make it happen. They adapt their coaching to the different abilities and know how to keep things fun and relaxed.
