Centre Approval
At the leading edge of this industry, Outdoor Adventure fulfils County Council Health and Safety requirements and is licensed by AALA (Adventurous Activities Licencing Authority). In addition the centre is approved by the BCU (British Canoe Union), BSA (British Surfing Association), RYA (Royal Yachting Association). We also hold the the Investors in People award.

Quality Assurance
Outdoor Adventure is totally customer focused and operates a quality assurance system that works. We make a real effort to gain your feedback and your ideas and suggestions have proved invaluable to us. Many of the Centre improvements and innovations to our holidays and programmes have come directly from you.
Our Commitment to the Environment
Outdoor Adventure is environmentally aware and pro-active. We are a provider of the John Muir Environmental Award and are on our way to becoming an Eco Centre. We work closely with English Nature, The National Trust, The Heritage Coast, The Forestry Commission and The Marine Conservation Society.
Our team pass on our knowledge of the environment to our customers and the John Muir philosophy of wild places - Discover Explore, Conserve and Share. We regularly monitor all of our activity locations to ensure our usage is not having any negative environmental impact. By taking this approach we can enjoy these amazing places with our guests without spoiling them for others. For the benefit of everyone, it is important that everything we do as a company is sustainable.
Accommodation
Wake to the roar of the waves! We have a great range of rooms available. Singles, doubles, twins, ensuite family and bunk rooms. Many of the rooms have a stunning sea view and all rooms are clean, bright, centrally heated and well-ventilated. The centre has numerous hot showers and toilet facilities and our cleaners are in every day!
Tipi Option
Enjoy a taste of the nomadic life-style whilst having all the comforts of the centre’s facilities. Revel in the experience of chilling out under the stars and sleeping in a tee-pee just 20 meters from the Ocean and only 100metres form the Centre.
Hotel Option
If you would prefer hotel accommodation we have some excellent hotels local to the centre. We can arrange this for you.
'Board Riders' Bar
A great place to relax and mull over your experiences of the day with like minded people. With a Mediterranean feel it has a great selection of music, drinks and seated patio area next to the surf.
Food
Enjoy your meals inside or out overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. All meals are tasty, home-cooked, varied, healthy and plentiful. We cater for vegetarians and special diets. Breakfast includes fruit juice, cereal, full English breakfast, toast and marmalade and tea and coffee. A wholesome packed lunch is provided. Other On-site Facilities
TV room with extensive range of extreme sport DVDs, laundry room, drying rooms, secure equipment store, car parking, climbing wall, problem solving course, orienteering course, seated cliff-top acoustic music and fire area and private beach.
Equipment
We use the latest equipment available and continually renew it. Our equipment maintenance and quarantine system ensure all activity equipment is in first class condition.
Transport once you are here
Outdoor Adventure runs a fleet of minibuses and fulfils all the requirements to operate minibuses legally. We have a PSV (public service vehicle operator’s license) and our drivers are PCV (passenger carrying vehicle) qualified. As well as our daily safety checks our minibuses are inspected by a DOT garage every 10 weeks.
Non-residential option
Outdoor Adventure also run activity programmes on a non-residential basis if required.
